Live
*PRO* Ballroom Boxing is in its
eleventh year, having successfully
produced one of the most highly
touted, consistent boxing shows
in the nation. Michael's Eighth
Avenue is located in Glen Burnie,
Maryland, just 7 miles north of
Baltimore/Washington Airport and
25 miles north of Washington, making
it convenient and acccessible to
fans across the area. The 1500-seat
ballroom-style arena hosts to sell-out
crowds, as local boxing fans clamor
to see the likes of future and former
champions. Stars seen on past cards
include Reggie Green, Orlin Norris,
Junior Jones Simon Brown, Teddy
Reid and many others. Known for
its action packed, competitively
matched fight cards, boxing stars
like Lou Duva, Christy Martin, Michael
Spinks, Joe Frazier have been special
guests at ringside to view the action
and host our VIP pre-fight receptions.
The two-hour
televised shows are taped and aired
on Cable Networks and Satellite
TV no later than one month from
the live show. Fights are seen once
prime time and twice during selected
rotators. The show reaches more
than 30 million basic cable homes.
Ballroom Boxing is aired on the
Comcast Sports Network, the Sunshine
Network, the New England Sports
Network, as well as, Armed Forces
Network, the Urban American Network,
Action Sports Network and receives
national exposure on Satellite TV.
On-air talent includes USA Today's
Jon Saraceno and CBS Radio Vice
President of Sports Larry Michael.
Our television audience has grown
over the last two years, as we have
consistently provided viewers with
the same quality programming as
ESPN 2 and Fox Sports Net Boxing.
Now introducing
a 13 show series. The Best of Ballroom
Boxing, a 13 show series, will introduce
the "Best Club Show in the
Country" to fans around the
world. With highly competitive fights
and a consistent event schedule,
